Hey, I'm Heather!  The face behind the camera! I am a wife and a mother to two beautiful little boys. I have  a list of dream places to take someone's photos, and cant wait to find more!

The name Wild Hauer is rooted in both who i am and what inspires me. Hauer comes from my last name, Dauenhauer, while Wild reflects my love for being outdoors-- surrounded by wildflowers, chasing sunsets, and soaking up that wild golden hour light. Those fleeting moments at sunrise and sunset when the world glows warm and magical, are my favorite. Even the Heather flower, which shares my name, finds its ways into my designs as a little personal touch.

After stepping away for a little while, I couldn't be more excited to be back behind the camera. Photography has always been my way of freezing the laughter, love, and adventure of real life. My style is warm, natural, and timeless-- focused on authentic moments that feel like you.

I'm currently learning to use my great grandfathers twin lens camera, its much different than my DSLR, but so much fun! Im interested in playing around with some different film cameras I have of my dads, and excited to relearn film! I'm working on learning all about color grading, and double exposures! So if you book a session with me, expect some creative practice being added to your gallery! :)
